La marque de montres G-SHOCK dévoile une nouvelle collaboration accrocheuse en lien avec son 40ème anniversaire qui aura lieu en 2023. En plus d’une édition spéciale conçue avec le label du rappeur marseillais JUL, le spécialiste de la montre anti-choc nous présente une DW-5600SMB-4 en collaboration avec Super Mario Bros.
Cette toute nouvelle montre est à la fois originale et nostalgique. Elle nous replonge dans les années 1980-90 en faisant référence au légendaire jeu vidéo de Nintendo qui a connu un succès mondial.
La DW-5600SMB-4 exclusive arbore un look ludique et audacieux. Elle se pare de détails caractéristiques tels que le rouge Mario sur la lunette et cadran, et le bleu dans le fond du cadran inspiré des scènes de l’univers du jeu. Les accents dorés correspondent aux pièces de monnaie emblématiques du jeu qui a marqué des générations d’amateurs. Pour assurer le look, Mario se retrouve sur différentes parties de la montre : il est imprimé en 8 bits sur le bracelet à la façon d’un camo et il apparaît lorsque le rétro-éclairage est activé. En le combinant avec la coquille Koopa Troopa imprimée sur le bas du cadran, le mouvement emblématique du jeu est ainsi reproduit. Les polices du cadran sont également en 8 bits afin de récréer l’ambiance phare de 1985.
Cette montre sera livrée dans un emballage spécial de couleur rouge comportant une illustration de l’écran d’ouverture du jeu et la phrase signature de Mario « Here We Go ! ».

In addition to a special edition designed with the label of Marseille, France, rappeur JUL, the shockproof watch specialist presents a DW-5600SMB-4 in collaboration with Super Mario Bros.This brand new watch is both original and nostalgic. It takes us back to the 1980s and 90s with a reference to the legendary Nintendo video game that was a worldwide success.
The exclusive DW-5600SMB-4 has a bold and playful look. It features signature details such as Mario red on the bezel and dial and blue in the dial background inspired by scenes from the game world. The gold accents match the iconic coins from the game that has marked generations of fans. To ensure the look, Mario can be found on different parts of the watch : he’s printed in 8-bit camo-style on the strap and appears when the backlight is activated. By combining it with the Koopa Troopa shell printed on the bottom of the dial, the game’s iconic movement is reproduced. The fonts on the dial are also in 8-bit to recreate the iconic atmosphere of 1985.
The watch will be delivered in a special red packaging featuring an illustration of the game’s opening screen and Mario’s signature phrase « Here We Go! ».
