Il s’agit là d’une collaboration unique avec une des stars du cinéma d’action, qui aurait fêté ses 80 ans cette année.
Cette MRG-G2000BL a été conçue comme un hommage à la puissance physique et mentale de cet athlète hors du commun.
Les couleurs noire et jaune utilisées respectivement pour le boîtier et le bracelet, rappellent le survêtement emblématique porté par Bruce Lee dans son dernier film. Les couleurs jaune et rouge font, quant à elles, référence au symbole du Jeet Kune Do, véritable philosophie des arts martiaux fondée par Lee, et sont utilisées respectivement pour les indices, le logo MR-G ainsi que la trotteuse. Sur la lunette est gravée » N’avoir pas de voie comme voie, n’avoir pas de limite comme limite « , une phrase qui exprime le potentiel illimité du Jeet Kune Do. La signature de Bruce Lee apparaît lorsque la montre affiche 3h, avec le caractère chinois «龍», ou dragon : surnom de Bruce Lee.
La MRG-G2000BL est limitée à 300 pièces dans le monde et est fabriquée au Japon, à la main par des artisans horlogers. This is an unique collaboration with one of the stars of action movies, who would have celebrated his 80th birthday this year.
This MRG-G2000BL was designed as a tribute to the physical and mental power of this extraordinary athlete.
The black and yellow colours used respectively for the case and the bracelet, are reminiscent of the emblematic tracksuit worn by Bruce Lee in his lastest movie. The yellow and red colours refer to the symbol of Jeet Kune Do, real philosophy of martial arts founded by Lee, and are used respectively for the indices, the MR-G logo and the second hand. On the bezel is engraved « Using no way as a way, having no limit as a limit », a phrase that expresses the unlimited potential of Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee’s signature appears when the watch displays 3 o’clock, with the Chinese character «龍», or dragon : Bruce Lee’s nickname.
The MRG-G2009BL is limited to 300 pieces worldwide and is handcrafted in Japan by watchmaking artisans.
