Il y a quelques semaines, se déroulait au Metronum à Toulouse les demi-finales du « Tremplin » du Rose Festival (article disponible ICI). Une compétition musicale unique dans la région permettant à de jeunes artistes de venir tenter leur chance devant un public nombreux et surtout devant un jury de professionnels issus de différents domaines artistiques et médiatiques.
C’est donc mercredi 15 mai 2024 qu’a eu lieu la finale du « Tremplin » dans une des salles mythiques de la région toulousaine : le BIKINI. A 20h40 précises, les artistes Big Flo et Oli rentraient sur scène afin de lancer la compétition tout en nous présentant les différentes personnalités composant le jury final. J’ai notamment pu apercevoir Fred de Skyrock ainsi qu’un des membres du groupe Zebda dans ce fameux jury composé d’une douzaine de personnes.
C’est aux environs de 21h00, que la première artiste DINAA faisait son entrée sur scène. Seule gagnante de la demi-finale de Montpellier, cette dernière rentrait sur scène concentrée, d’un pas tranquille mais déterminé, accompagnée d’une guitare acoustique. Et c’est tout naturellement, dès les premières notes, devant une salle comble, que DINAA transportait le public à travers une voix mélodieuse, des textes forts et compréhensibles. C’est d’ailleurs ce combo parfait voix/texte qui (à mon avis) a permis à l’artiste d’avoir l’attention de toute la salle. A entendre les commentaires de certaines personnes dans la salle, ce fut une belle découverte. D’entrée de jeu DINAA posait sa « patte » sur la compétition.
Vers 21:35, l’artiste toulousaine CHLOËMOI, accompagnée de son DJ (Dj GEMS), arrivait elle aussi sur scène d’un pas déterminé prête à dévorer la compétition. D’entrée de jeu, elle mettait le feu avec des progs énergiques allant du R’n’B à la Pop. On a aussi pu entendre des textes engagés teintés d’histoires visiblement vécues laissant transparaitre une artiste forte et fragile, n’ayant pas peur de se livrer, pour des moments pleins d’authenticité. En fin de prestation, Chloemoi avait une une petite surprise en poche puisque le public présent, toujours aussi réactif, a eu la chance de découvrir en live un tout nouveau morceau qui devrait sortir dans les jours à venir.
Après une interlude animée par les créateurs de contenu Thewingzer et Superboumj, ce fut au tour de le groupe toulousain VISCERAL de nous faire rentrer dans leur univers teinté de rock, rap et electro. Le chanteur survolté et les musiciens proposaient une prestation efficace pleine de passion et d’énergie. Encore une fois, le public aura été au rendez-vous en étant réactif à un show où Viscéral a lancé dans le public un énorme personnage gonflé qui fera plusieurs fois le tour de la salle pour revenir sur scène.
C’est aux alentours de 22:45, que la dernière finaliste BLUE JAY rentrait sur scène avec deux musiciens (guitare et basse) afin de s’approprier complètement la scène du BIKINI, grâce à une énergie débordante, en allant de droite à gauche, en dansant, en bougeant en interagissant avec le public de façon très naturelle. C’est sur un style que je qualifierais d’électro/Pop que BLUE JAY a su conquérir le cœur du public en n’hésitant pas à faire se baisser l’ensemble de la salle afin de les faire sauter à l’unisson sur l’un de ses morceaux phares. Cette artiste talentueuse a vraiment tout donner d’elle même pendant une quarantaine de minutes.
Après cette dernière prestation, Big Flo et Oli sont apparus sur scène afin d’offrir au public une petite surprise pendant la délibération du jury. C’est donc le gagnant du « Tremplin » du Rose Festival 2023 JETHRO qui est apparu sur scène pour une prestation forte et maîtrisée qui a fait danser le public du début à la fin.
C’est un peu avant minuit que le Jury a fait son apparition afin de délivrer le résultat du concours avec un classement qui a certainement déçu certains et en a ravi d’autres. Quoiqu’il en soit, chacun des artistes en est sorti vainqueur puisque chacun d’entre eux pourra bénéficier de l’expertise des équipes travaillant avec Big Flo et Oli. C’est donc DINAA qui a gagné le concours, suivi de VISCERAL, BLUE JAY et CHLOËMOI. Vous pourrez donc retrouver sur l’une des scènes du ROSE FESTIVAL 2024 les artistes DINAA et VISCERAL.

[:en]A few weeks ago, the semi-finals of the Rose Festival « Tremplin » took place at the Métronum in Toulouse (article available HERE). A unique musical competition in the region, it enables young artists to try their luck in front of a large audience and, above all, a jury of professionals from different artistic and media fields.The « Tremplin » final took place on Wednesday May 15, 2024, in one of Toulouse’s legendary music venues : the BIKINI. At precisely 8.40pm, artists Big Flo et Oli took to the stage to kick off the competition and introduce us to the various personalities making up the final jury. I spotted Fred from Skyrock and one of the members of the group Zebda on the dozen-strong jury.
At around 9:00 p.m., the first artist, DINAA, took to the stage. The sole winner of the Montpellier semi-final, she took to the stage with a quiet but determined step, accompanied by an acoustic guitar. And from the very first notes, in front of a packed house, DINAA naturally transported the audience with her melodious voice and strong, comprehensible lyrics. In fact, it was this perfect voice/text combo that (in my opinion) won the artist the attention of the entire audience. Listening to the comments of some people in the room, it was a wonderful discovery. From the outset, DINAA put her « stamp » on the competition.
At around 21:35, Toulouse artist CHLOËMOI, accompanied by her DJ (Dj GEMS), also took to the stage with a determined step, ready to devour the competition. Right from the start, she set the stage alight with energetic progs ranging from R’n’B to Pop. Her engaging lyrics, tinged with real-life stories, revealed a strong yet fragile artist, unafraid to open up, for moments full of authenticity. At the end of her performance, Chloemoi had a little surprise up her sleeve, as the audience, as responsive as ever, had the chance to discover live a brand new track due for release in the coming days.
After an interlude hosted by content creators Thewingzer and Superboumj, it was the turn of Toulouse band VISCERAL to take us into their world of rock, rap and electro. The overexcited singer and musicians delivered an effective performance full of passion and energy. Once again, the audience was on its feet, reacting to a show in which Viscéral launched a huge inflated character into the audience, circling the room several times before returning to the stage.
At around 22:45, finalist BLUE JAY took to the stage with two musicians (guitar and bass) to take over the BIKINI stage with her boundless energy, moving from right to left, dancing, moving and interacting with the audience in a very natural way. BLUE JAY conquered the hearts of the audience with a style I’d describe as electro/pop, not hesitating to get the whole room down and jumping up and down in unison to one of her signature tracks. This talented artist really gave it her all for around forty minutes.
After this final performance, Big Flo and Oli appeared on stage to offer the audience a little surprise while the jury deliberated. The winner of the Rose Festival 2023 « Tremplin », JETHRO, then took to the stage for a strong, controlled performance that had the audience dancing from start to finish.
Shortly before midnight, the Jury appeared to deliver the results of the contest, with a ranking that certainly disappointed some and delighted others. In any case, each of the artists emerged victorious, since each of them will be able to benefit from the expertise of the teams working with Big Flo et Oli. DINAA won the contest, followed by VISCERAL, BLUE JAY and CHLOËMOI. DINAA and VISCERAL will be performing on one of the stages at ROSE FESTIVAL 2024.
