Le talentueux artiste contemporain multidisciplinaire new-yorkais Daniel Arsham continue d’apporter sa touche personnelle et unique à des pièces de grandes marques. La dernière en date : la boîte emblématique « Tiffany Blue » du joaillier américain qui peut renfermer un bracelet également réinterprété.
Daniel Arsham décline en 49 sculptures cette intemporelle « Blue Box » Tiffany.
Il a répondu à la demande du célèbre joaillier avec sa marque de joue signature : une nouvelle teinte appelée « Tiffany Green ». La boîte est coulée en bronze et parsemée de cristaux d’or dentelés. L’aspect érodé fait référence au cheminement artistique de créateur new-yorkais : il imagine de futures reliques, il mélange le futur avec le passé en métamorphosant les objets culturels. Cette nouvelle œuvre est une continuation de la série d’art de Daniel Arsham « Future Archeological ».
A propos de cette boîte réimaginée, l’artiste a expliqué : « Je voulais la présenter d’une manière différente de l’intention d’origine en lui donnant une image tourmentée, vieillie, qui représente son histoire. Mon travail imagine un objet contemporain comme si nous l’avions transporté dans le futur et ramené l’objet. Et cette fois la dislocation crée une sorte de paradoxe dans l’objet lui-même. Vous avez cette chose que vous connaissez de votre époque actuelle, mais elle a l’air vieille. »
En plus de cette boîte, Daniel Arsham a réimaginée un bracelet de la nouvelle collection Knot de Tiffany & Co. Il est fabriqué en or blanc 18 carats et ornée de diamants et de tsavorite , une gemme verte rare découverte au Kenya et présenté en 1974.
Ce bracelet peut être livré dans l’une des 49 boîtes en bronze Daniel Arsham x Tiffany & Co. Les visiteurs du magasin phare Tiffany & Co à New York pourront entrer à l’intérieur d’une boîte « Tiffany Green » interactive afin de découvrir la collection d’œuvres d’art et de bijoux Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio en édition limitée.

The latest : the iconic « Tiffany Blue » box from the American jeweler, which can hold a bracelet that has also been reinterpreted.Daniel Arsham has created 49 sculptures of this timeless Tiffany « Blue Box ».
He responded to the request of the famous jeweler with his signature cheek mark : a new shade called « Tiffany Green ». The box is cast in bronze and studded with jagged gold crystals. The eroded look refers to the New York-based designer’s artistic journey : he imagines future relics, mixing the future with the past by metamorphosing cultural objects. This new work is a continuation of Daniel Arsham’s « Future Archeological » art series.
About this reimagined box, the artist explained, « I wanted to present it in a way that was different from the original intention by giving it a tormented, aged image that represents its history. My work imagines a contemporary object as if we had transported it to the future and brought it back. And this time the dislocation creates a kind of paradox in the object itself. You have this thing that you know from your current time, but it looks old. »
In addition to this box, Daniel Arsham has reimagined a bracelet from Tiffany & Co.’s new Knot collection, made of 18-karat white gold and adorned with diamonds and tsavorite, a rare green gem discovered in Kenya and introduced in 1974.
This bracelet can be delivered in one of 49 Daniel Arsham x Tiffany & Co. bronze boxes. Visitors to the Tiffany & Co. flagship store in New York will be able to step inside an interactive « Tiffany Green » box to experience the limited edition Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio art and jewelry collection.
