Le concert tant attendu du rappeur DEEN BURBIGO a enfin eu lieu au BIKINI de Toulouse le 24 février 2023. Initialement programmé pour le 23 novembre 2022, le show a été à la hauteur des attentes du public venu nombreux.
Cette soirée a mis à l’honneur plusieurs projets, dont les derniers opus de DEEN BURBIGO en solo : son 2ème album ‘Cercle Vertueux’ (2020) et son EP de 8 titres ‘OG SAN’ (2021), mais aussi ‘Saboteur Mixtape vol.1’ sortie le 22 octobre 2022 et comprenant d’autres artistes de l’Entourage tels que EFF GEE, RATUS et ESSO LUXUEUX.
Après une ouverture des portes à 19h30, la première partie assurée par RATUS a commencé à l’heure prévue, 20h30.
Le talentueux rappeur originaire du 93 était accompagné du Dj-beatmaker-producteur BIG DON et de son acolyte BLAZ PIT qui a assuré les backs, les feats et nous a même partagé 2 morceaux de son EP nommé ‘Après Minuit’.
RATUS, qui a été révélé au grand jour depuis son apparition sur la ‘Don Dada Mixtape vol.1’ d’Alpha Wann, a su chauffer la salle et entraîner la foule dans son univers artistique. Il a performé pendant près d’une heure en jouant des morceaux bruts et durs comme « Nouveau poste », « Velux » ou encore « PM 7513 », mais aussi des sons plus légers, voire dansants, comme « La Noyade ». RATUS a fini sa prestation en demandant au public d’allumer les lumières de leurs téléphones pour sa chanson « Curriculum ».
L’énergie et la bonne humeur étaient au rendez-vous. Le public, principalement composé de jeunes hommes et quelques femmes en hoodies et casquettes ou bobs, était chaud et suivait de bon cœur le délire des artistes en attendant l’arrivée de DEEN BURBIGO.
Le fameux rappeur a performé sur une scène au style simple mais significatif. La face avant de la table du DJ était ornée de l’inscription du label ‘Saboteur Records’ et bénéficiait d’un jeu de lumière changeante pour créer une ambiance colorée différente selon les sons. Deux beaux bonsaïs étaient disposés autour de cette table afin de faire ainsi référence à l’inspiration asiatique du dernier EP de DEEN, ‘OG San’.
Entrant sur scène à 21h30 pile sur le son « Cellule », la pépite marseillaise du collectif parisien l’Entourage a reçu un accueil plus que chaleureux ! Les gens hurlaient, sautaient, levaient les bras en l’air.
En totale interaction avec le public, celui qui détient un disque d’Or avec ‘Grand Cru’ (2017), a enchaîné avec des bangers comme « Colle à la peau », « Tout dedans » et le fameux « Cercle vertueux ».
DEEN BURBIGO a aussi pris le temps de discuter avec les personnes présentes dans le public, de leur faire part de sa phobie du ‘silence’ afin qu’elles continuent à tout simplement ‘f*utre le bordel dans la salle’ ! Ce qui a été assuré sans problème lorsqu’il a enchaîné avec son hit « Smith » puis « Jeu d’échecs ». La foule est même partie en pogo sur le très attendu « OG San », et l’artiste a ensuite donné son micro à une fille du public qui a largement assuré sur « Immunité Diplomatique ».
Après nous avoir offert les lives de « Mentalité », du son lover « BNB » ou encore « Mansa Moussa », DEEN BURBIGO a demandé au public de séparer la salle en 2 pour lui laisser un passage au milieu. Le but : revenir au plus près de la foule pour lâcher son morceau « Clio & Berline » comme dans ses célèbres battles Rap Contenders (allez check si jamais).
Revenu sur scène, il nous a fait la surprise de faire venir EFF GEE pour jouer « Vroom ! ». Pour garder l’ambiance toujours au top, les membres de l’Entourage ont enchaîné avec des morceaux pour les anciens, 2 vieux sons : « Fume cette merde » de 2013 et « On y va » de 2017. DEEN BURBIGO a terminé son concert avec « Savoir-Faire ».
Le public, toujours enjoué et chaud pour de nouveaux lives, a fait remonter DEEN et les autres rappeurs sur scène, RATUS, BLAZ PIT, EFF GEE et ESSO LUXUEUX. C’est avec « Sennin Mode », une 2ème fois « Mentalité » et l’hymne « Saboteur Gang » que le concert s’est officiellement clôturé dans un joyeux bordel !
Le concert de DEEN BURBIGO au BIKINI de Toulouse le 24 février 2023 a été un vrai succès. Le public et les artistes avaient tous une belle énergie et partageaient la joie de vivre cette soirée ensemble. DEEN a conclut en plaçant TOULOUSE dans son top 3 des villes les plus accueillantes de sa tournée. Est-ce que Bruxelles ou encore Audincourt, où il doit se produire les 3 et 10 mars 2023, lui feront le même effet ? ça reste à voir ! [:en]The long awaited concert of the rapper DEEN BURBIGO finally took place at the BIKINI in Toulouse on February 24, 2023. Initially scheduled for November 23, 2022, the show lived up to the expectations of the large audience.This evening featured several projects, including the latest solo releases of DEEN BURBIGO : his 2nd album ‘Cercle Vertueux’ (2020) and his 8-track EP ‘OG SAN’ (2021), but also ‘Saboteur Mixtape vol.1’ released on October 22, 2022 and including other artists of the Entourage such as EFF GEE, RATUS and ESSO LUXUEUX.
After opening the doors at 7:30 pm, the first part provided by RATUS began at the scheduled time, 8:30 pm.
The talented rapper from the 93 was accompanied by the Dj-beatmaker-producer BIG DON and his sidekick BLAZ PIT who provided the backs, feats and even shared 2 tracks from his EP called ‘Après Minuit’.
RATUS, who was revealed to the public since his appearance on the ‘Don Dada Mixtape vol.1’ of Alpha Wann, was able to warm up the room and draw the crowd into his artistic universe. He performed for almost an hour playing rough and tough tracks like « Nouveau poste », « Velux » or « PM 7513 », but also smoother sounds, even dancing, like « La Noyade ». RATUS finished his show by asking the audience to turn on their phone lights for his song « Curriculum ».
The energy and the good mood were there. The audience, mainly composed of young men and some women in hoodies and caps or bucket hats, was hot and followed the artists’ delirium while waiting for the arrival of DEEN BURBIGO.
The famous rapper performed on a simple but meaningful stage. The front of the DJ table was decorated with the label ‘Saboteur Records’ and had a set of changing colors to create a different atmosphere depending on the sounds. Two beautiful bonsai trees were placed around the table, referring to the Asian inspiration of DEEN’s latest EP, ‘OG San’.
Entering on stage at 9:30 pm sharp on the sound « Cellule », the star from Marseille of the Parisian collective l’Entourage received a more than warm welcome ! People were screaming, jumping, raising their arms in the air.
In total interaction with the audience, the one who held a golden record with ‘Grand Cru’ (2017), followed with bangers like « Colle à la peau », « Tout dedans » and the famous « Cercle vertueux ».
DEEN BURBIGO also took the time to chat with the people in the audience, to tell them about his phobia of ‘silence’ so that they would continue to simply ‘f*ck up the room’ ! What was assured without problem when he followed with his hit « Smith » then « Jeu d’échecs ». The crowd even went into a pogo on the much awaited « OG San », and the artist then gave his microphone to a girl from the audience who has largely ensured on « Immunité Diplomatique ».
After having offered us the live performances of « Mentalité », the lover sound « BNB » or « Mansa Moussa », DEEN BURBIGO asked the public to separate the room in 2 to leave him a passage in the middle. The goal : to return to the closest of the crowd to release his song « Clio & Berline » as in his famous battles Rap Contenders (go check if ever).
Back on stage, he surprised us by bringing EFF GEE to play « Vroom! » To keep the atmosphere always on top, the Entourage members followed up with tracks for the old timers, 2 old sounds « Fume cette merde » from 2013 and « On y va » from 2017. DEEN BURBIGO ended his concert with « Savoir-Faire ».
The audience, always upbeat and hot for new live shows, brought DEEN and the other rappers back on stage, RATUS, BLAZ PIT, EFF GEE and ESSO LUXUEUX. It’s with « Sennin Mode », a 2nd time « Mentality » and the anthem « Saboteur Gang » that the concert officially ended in a joyful mess !
The concert of DEEN BURBIGO at the BIKINI in Toulouse on February 24, 2023 was a real success. The audience and the artists all had a great energy and shared the joy of living this evening together. DEEN concluded by placing TOULOUSE in his top 3 most welcoming cities of his tour. Will Brussels or Audincourt, where he will perform on March 3 and 10, 2023, make him the same effect ?
